Enjoy some information about my favorite creatures!
Some spiders make webs, and some don't have webs. Most spiders have eight legs AND eight eyes too.
This is an orb weaver spider, they make beautiful webs in a spiral shape.
Spiders can jump. For safety when they jump, they spin out one piece of web that catches the wind.
The tarantula does not spin a web to catch its food. Some people know a dance that they do when they see a tarantula.
Instead of spit in their mouth, they have slime.
If you had a way to make tardigrades big, their claws would be big enough to make claw marks on your wall. It would also be really scary if it was big. But it is microscopic.
Copepods have one single eye in the center of their head. It's like a cyclops. A water table would be like a swimming pool to it.
Here are some big lizards that I like.
Komodo Dragons stand up when they fight. They have strong claws and a strong mouth. Its bite is so strong, to kill big animals it puts one venomous bite on its throat. Then when it dies, it eats it. They smell with their tongue, even to faraway places. They are as long as three of me!
Monitor lizards eat all sorts of creatures. They are about as long as a daddy. I think that they are really cool.
Red Tegus aren't red when they are born. They turn red when they're a grownup. They sometimes steal chickens from farms.
